"We engaged a Annette Huygens-Tholen, Champion Mind Coach, who came to Adelaide periodically and aligned us with our goals, objectives and basically put us all on the same page which allowed us to work smoothly and in flow for all this time.  Annette is an amazing person who came into our lives and inspired us to get in touch with those things we set out to do.  Our practices have been transformed as have our relationship to each other!  In the first tournament of the year in Adelaide at the end of March, we were so focused and were finishing sets and matches with authority and aligning ourselves with our intentions...it was very exciting!"

"I have know Annette since 1986, when we both played Indoor Volleyball in South Australia. She very quickly became a treasured and close friend as I was instantly drawn to her vibrant and positive personality.
We have travelled together all over the world during our 20 years of playing Indoor and Beach Volleyball and those experiences have developed in her an incredible aptitude in understanding and communicating with people.

I have no hesitation in recommending Annette as a results coach as she definitely knows what it takes!”

"During my International Beach Volleyball career I was lucky enough to partner Annette for 2 years. Not only is Netty a great volleyball player and athlete, she is also a very driven, successful and intelligent woman who I am privileged to call my friend. I was lucky enough to experience some NLP training and coaching from Annette during my last season before my retirement from competition. She helped me to free myself of some negative thought and behaviour patterns which had been with me throughout my career in only a few short sessions. I only wish I had worked with her sooner! I highly recommend this training to anyone who is looking to get more out of themselves and their lives."

“Annette’s presentations were received incredibly well with staff and members commenting on how well prepared Annette was and indeed on the value of the content and manner in which she presented it. I intend to get Annette back to do more presentations in the future and would not hesitate to recommend her as a presenter for any organisation or individual. She has a pleasant presentation style and shows great versatility in the topics that she is able to present.

Personally I loved the little anecdotal stories she threw in to keep us all on our seats...”

“From the homework Annette set for me to do before our first one on one session I experienced results.  These results I had been searching for years and the 'real' coaching hadn't even begun yet.   From Annette's coaching what I really got was that the way I am isn't set in stone and I am able to choose to be the person/player I want to be all by changing my mindset.  This had been in the past a lot easier said then done.  With Annette's coaching now it has become easier to do than say.  I am able to be who I say I want to be.  My first example I experienced was being a great jump server in Beach volleyball.  In the past at the end of a set when it got tight I would never know if the ball would go in or out, I could never trust myself.  I was 14-9 down in the 3rd set, match point to the other team.  It was the Aussie National Champs, we win this match and we're through to the semi-finals.  Annette had worked with me to be able to go back and jump serve every time knowing I could put the ball where I wanted to.  We won that match 16-14 and i jump served every single serve to win the match.  Also when I would be feeling pressure I used to go back to old habits, Annette taught me a way to turn on the new way of being through a physical anchor.  Now as soon as I am feeling pressure I use this anchor, immediately I use this anchor all pressure disappears and I am free to play.  Free to jump serve 7 serves in a row!”
